"I remember graduating college and asking people what they were going to do next. Most of them couldn't answer me. Some were going back home to their parents. Some were searching for a cheap apartment, a better job or even a second job . Others told me they hadn't really thought about it. It was a shock to me, because I always knew what I wanted out of life. I always had goals that I set for myself. So I always had an answer for what came next. I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to empower people. I wanted to give people confidence, by proving to them that they are in control of their life - both personally and professionally. That they didn't have to struggle. That they didn't have to spend their life savings or take out a $100k loan just to start a business. That they too, could become the entrepreneur they always dreamed to be. But I couldn't prove it, until I had done it myself. So, I literally became an entrepreneur junkie. People thought I was insane. Here I was, this young entrepreneur, with all these businesses and side gigs. Every day someone was asking me how they could do what I do - how I had the time to manage everything - if I ever slept - why things seemed to come so easy to me - and my answer was always so simple that they thought it was a joke. The truth is, people tend to overthink everything, making it more complicated than it really is. We live in a time where we have access to everything with just the push of a button. Everything is more accessible now than it has ever been. And I wanted to show people how easy it is to Not Be Broke. So I went full-on entrepreneur, building multiple businesses, including Gen XYZ Consulting. And if you ask me when I'll be done building new businesses and creating multiple streams of income, my answer is never."
